To put it mildly, 2020 has been a strange year. To put it more accurately it has been a very strange year. We all felt like we were trapped in one of those weird disaster movies without escapes. If this year has taught us anything, it's to expect the unexpected. We sure have been reminded that we can’t control it all.
Not everything was a disaster
Despite the grave uncertainty and being separated for a long time, we at Local Heroes managed to handle the stressful situations when Croatia shut down. Also we encountered new experiences. We’ve learned new ways to stay close to each other and we were reminded about life’s true values.

Strong teamwork
We at Local Heroes managed to keep everybody on board and provide a secure shelter of economic security which gave a lot of positive energy. That enabled us to overcome the new challenges. Before the ‘collapse’ our team took two new highly appreciated members on board, we learned more, we met wonderful clients and created very memorable journeys.

We survived the tsunami
After the closure we have proven to be very flexible in handling the tsunami of big and little crises that almost flooded us. We managed to keep our head above the water and managed to make sure all our clients were happy. And have even been able to tighten the relations with our providers and get closer to them. We were all in the same boat…
